The name STUMDI comes from the abbreviation of « stummadur (formation) dibaouez (continuous) ». It can also be understood as « the house of formation ».

Who ?

Stumdi is an organization/ association that makes breton language long courses since 22 years now and - since 2009- in gallo language.

 

What ?

Stumdi's team (about 15 employees) receives more than 150 trainees each year for one of  its many courses : :

Two breton language long courses (during 6 months),

Two 3 months courses for advanced trainees in breton, 

Short courses (one week) focused on one main topic,

Formations according to one's desire (private individuals or companies). Ask for our specific file,

 

 

 

 

New in 2009 :

- Long course on gallo language (3 months),

-Professional courses on one specific topic (Media, childhood),

- Courses for native speakers.

A united competent bilingual team :

Teachers working for Stumdi since some time now, that makes the team a true team, efficient, diverse.  Each member brings its own specificity and can replace another member if sick.

Administrative employees careful and helpful, efficient to help our trainees and solve their problems.

2 long courses (From September to March - From January to July)

One week courses, three with a special topic :
• One week in breton on Ouessant island (linguistic immersion).
Dindan al loar gann : Discovery of the cultural and historical patrimony in Landerneau (during the Kann al Loar festival).
• One week about Breton Gwened gwenedeg (Discovery of the cultural and historical patrimony in Pont-Scorff).
